The robotic hosts in the park are set on pre-recorded paths (loops) that they follow and are renewed each day. These cycles repeat with the hosts interacting with the guests in numerous ways including murder, rape, and torture. The hosts are physically unable to harm the guests with the guests ready and able to commit any perversion they desire on the hosts.

Man-In-Black

Staff of Delos Inc. operate in an area called “The Mesa” and oversee the actions of the guests and monitor the loops of the hosts in the Park. If the hosts display abnormal behavior or are straying from their loop they are decommissioned and kept in the basement of “The Mesa.” These hosts are replaced by other robots who take their place on their loops.

Since Season 1, Westworld has been nominated for numerous awards, including 43 Emmy nominations, 4 Critic’s Choice Awards, 3 Golden Globes, 2 Writer’s Guild of America Awards, and 2 Satellite Awards
